Take Time to Create

The creative process can take many forms; from the few seconds it takes to snap a picture, to the final produce of a scrapbook page. The instant it takes to create life or the years spent in nurturing that child.  We create everyday, sometimes it is planned and sometimes it just happens!  In everything we do, say, write or make; we create!  Celebrate and enjoy the gift God Created: YOU!

Diamond spider frill
my first major bobbin lace project
These are the items I entered in my county fair.  I am so pleased with the ribbons they won!  I am busy deciding which will go to the state fair.

I entered 7 items in my County Fair.  The 6 bobbin lace items all received Blue Ribbons(1st place), the Fan and the Hat also received Purple Grand Champion Ribbons.  The Red Smocked Hat received a red ribbon (2nd place).

As current president of the Heartland Lace Guild, I feel it is part of my responsibility to help promote Lace making.  In today's environment the internet is the obvious choice.  It seems everyone and every topic has a web page.  So I thought I could join the hundreds of thousands of pages available. As I was thinking about the purpose of this web site I had trouble focusing on just one direction.  First why have a web page and then what to place on it?  I want a page that is interesting, someplace others will want to visit again and again.  I wanted to offer new ideas and content not found elsewhere on the web.

Pam

I hope you find something to enjoy.

While I want to highlight bobbin lace, I have not been a lace maker long enought to fill a web site, so I will add a few of my other hobbies.
