EXHIBIT AND DEMONSTRATION

The Heartland Lace Guild holds an Exhibit and Demonstration each April during the AQS Quilt Show at Grace Episcopal Church.  Everyone is welcomed to see the exhibit and watch the demonstration of lace making by our guild members.  We encourage anyone with an interest to sit down at our beginners pillow and learn the art of bobbin lace making.  The event is FREE to all.

The theme of the 2010 Exhibit and Demo: Celebrate Spring with Lace! Exhibiting Spring Inspired bobbin Lace and Tatting takes flight with Butterflies -  Start working now, we would like 100% participation for the 2010 exhibit.  We are planning to use a separate room for the Exhibit and need every guild member to help fill the room with Spring Lace.  Look for Details in upcoming Pillow Talk.

THE 2009 EXHIBIT AND DEMONSTRATION WILL FOCUS ON YARDS OF LACE – 3 YARDS MIM.

PLEASE JOIN US THIS YEAR.
Report on this years Exhibit and Demo.  We had several entries for our 3 yards of lace exhibit, we wish we had had more.  The tatters in our guild organized an exhibit of tatted hearts, they had over 100 hearts on display!  This was our first year to offer free tatting and bobbin lace classes and everyone agrees it was a huge success!  We are already planning for next year!
